Favorite Homeschooling Information Websites

Secular Homeschooling - The best homeschooling site in existence with forums, curriculum reviews, social networking, blogs, links to groups in your area, "How To Homeschool," articles, community, etc. This is a great place to start if you're considering homeschooling or just getting started, it's an invaluable resource.

The Organization of Virginia Homeschoolers - VAHomeschoolers is a much more inclusive homeschool group that is Secular Friendly. Join today! They are very helpful to those getting started and have links to groups all over Virginia!

Love To Know - Great "How to Teach" pages. How to Teach Multiplication, How to Teach Phonics, etc. They also have a great link list for general homeschooling information.

Secular Curriculum Sellers:
Moving Beyond the Page - Unit Studies, complete curriculum or just buy individual units. You must add your own Math.
Five In A Row
Time4Learning - A reasonably priced online curriculum. Allows access to one grade level above and one grade level below your chosen grade. Discount for multiple students. For $19.95 a month it can't hurt to give it a try.
The Well Trained Mind - We are not Classical Homeschoolers, but I use TWTM as a reference and their forums (message boards) are wonderful. Can easily be used by Secular and Religious Homeschoolers.
Singapore Math - Best for kids that don't want or need a lot of repetition, many use it with Miquon Math as a supplement.
Miquon Math - A good supplement to Singapore Math for grades K-3. Uses Cuisinare Rods.
